How do we move years of guide and survey data out of Pendo?+

Pendo's Data Sync (or CSV exports on lower tiers) drops your raw events, guide views and NPS responses into S3, which we replay into your new Postgres event table. Guide content moves into Sanity as structured copy. We typically keep Pendo running read-only for 60-90 days during cutover as a safety net.

Will our in-app tours still work after the rebuild?+

Yes. We replace Pendo's visual selector matching with explicit data-tour attributes on the React components your engineers already own. Tours are versioned in git alongside the UI they target, so a CSS refactor can't silently break onboarding — the test suite catches it before the deploy ships.

How long does the rebuild take?+

Typically 10-12 weeks: 2 weeks to audit guides, surveys and the existing event schema, 6-8 weeks building the event pipeline, guide engine, NPS surveys, resource center and session replay, then 2 weeks parallel-running with Pendo before flipping the snippet.
