Reporting and EU compliance
Reporting is consistently the loudest complaint in Personio reviews — figures that don't reconcile across modules, limited flexibility, and the meaningful dashboards parked behind higher tiers and Workflow Automation add-ons.
What people actually say

Reporting is SQL against your own warehouse, rendered with Metabase or Tremor. EU-specific reports — German AÜG and ELStAM exports, French DSN headcount inputs, Spanish Igualdad pay-gap reports, gender pay-gap snapshots for the EU Pay Transparency Directive — are first-class views, not paid modules. Multi-currency, multi-entity, multi-country boolean filters are built in, and adding a new dashboard is a pull request rather than a contract renegotiation.
